ABOUT THE ROLE

Our partner Secondary School in Barnet is looking for a talented Trainee Physics Teacher to begin full-time training with them in September 2023.
This full-time salaried position is available to graduates who preferably have some classroom experience. However, prior teaching experience is not essential for this role. By joining the Grad2Teach salaried teacher training programme, you'll have the opportunity to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) over one or two years while working in at least two schools and earning a salary during your training.
Upon successful completion of our programme, you'll become a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

Attend 6 training days with our partner university
Complete 3 written assessments reflecting on your experience and what you’ve learned so far
Cover up to 90% of a teaching timetable within a classroom
Work under a dedicated learning mentor who will guide and advise you along your journey
Experience two contrasting school placements, allowing you to broaden your experience
