About the Role

About You 

We are seeking a motivated aspiring teacher, trainee educator, or future Mathematics teacher with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for education.

You will:

  • Hold (or be working toward) a degree in Mathematics or a related discipline

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Be reliable, reflective, and eager to develop professionally

  • Enjoy inspiring secondary-aged pupils to achieve in Maths

  • Be committed to completing a structured teacher training programme

Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with young people is beneficial but not essential.

Training & Progression

  • Completion of Phase One, achieving a Level 4 qualification with Grad2Teach

  • Training aligned with the Core Content Framework (CCF) and national Teaching Standards

  • Structured mentoring, lesson observations, and continuous professional development

  • Progression to Phase Two, where you begin independent teaching

  • Opportunity to complete a PGCE with Coventry University, leading to QTS
