The Role & Training
As a Graduate Trainee Sociology Teacher, you will:

  • Train through the Grad2Teach salaried ITT programme

  • Work towards a PGCE with QTS from Coventry University

  • Earn a salary while teaching Sociology at KS4 and KS5

  • Receive mentoring and coaching from experienced staff

  • Follow structured training mapped against the Core Content Framework

Candidate Requirements

  • A degree (Sociology, Criminology, or related subject advantageous)

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (with flexibility during Phase 1 if required)

  • Some prior teaching or classroom experience

  • A genuine passion for education and the social sciences
