About Grad2Teach

Grad2Teach offers a school-based, salaried teacher training programme that allows you to gain real classroom experience from day one. You’ll work alongside experienced educators while following a structured training pathway that leads to QTS and PGCE, supported by dedicated mentors every step of the way.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics) to secondary pupils across KS3 and KS4. Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons that spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking.

  • Supporting pupils of all abilities in building scientific understanding and confidence.

  • Learning and growing through professional mentoring and classroom practice.

  • Becoming a valued part of the school and contributing to wider school life.


Requirements:

To be eligible for this role and the Grad2Teach programme, you must have:

  • A UK undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related STEM field).

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

  • A genuine interest in teaching and a passion for science.

  • Good communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.

  • A commitment to developing as a teacher and making a difference in education.
