The Role & Training

As a Graduate Trainee Science Teacher, you’ll join the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme, which includes:

  • A fully-funded, two-phase training route

  • A PGCE with QTS awarded by Coventry University

  • A salary while you train, so you can earn as you learn

  • Supportive, hands-on mentoring from experienced teaching staff

  • A blended programme designed around the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework

    Candidate Requirements

    To be eligible for this role, you will need:

    • A degree (ideally in a Science-related subject)

    • GCSEs in English and Maths (with some flexibility during Phase 1)

    • A strong commitment to teaching, with enthusiasm and resilience

    • A genuine passion for inspiring young people through Science
