About the Role & Grad2Teach Programme

Through the Grad2Teach programme, you will join a two-phase salaried teacher training route:

  • Phase 1: Classroom immersion with gradual responsibility, working alongside experienced educators while earning a salary

  • Phase 2: Gain your PGCE with QTS awarded by Coventry University

  • Supportive in-school mentoring from experienced teachers and senior leaders

Candidate Requirements

  • You must hold a bachelor’s degree

  • A strong interest in Science education and a desire to make a difference

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (some flexibility possible during Phase 1)

  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to becoming a skilled classroom practitioner
