The Role & Training

As a Graduate Trainee Religious Education Teacher, you’ll train through the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme, which offers:

• A two-phase programme leading to a PGCE with QTS through Coventry University

  Candidate Requirements

  To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in any subject (RE, Theology, Philosophy, or related fields desirable)

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (with flexibility during Phase 1)

  • A genuine passion for Religious Education and shaping young minds

  • Commitment, resilience, and enthusiasm for a teaching career
