The Role & Your Training

As part of the Grad2Teach programme, you’ll follow a two-phase salaried Initial Teacher Training route designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to become a successful classroom practitioner.

Your training includes:

• A PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University

• A salaried placement—train while earning

• Tailored support from experienced in-school mentors and Grad2Teach tutors

• A blended training model aligned with the Core Content Framework and Teachers’ Standards

• Hands-on classroom experience in a supportive and forward-thinking setting

  Who We're Looking For

  To apply, you must:

  • Hold a UK bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

  • Ideally have GCSEs in English, maths, and science (some flexibility may apply during Phase 1)

  • Be passionate about primary education and child development

  • Be resilient, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
