Role & Training

Through the Grad2Teach salaried teacher training programme, you will gradually take on more responsibility in the classroom while working towards a PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University.

What’s included:

  • A two-phase programme based on the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework

  • Phase 1: Classroom immersion, observation, and co-teaching without the pressure of a full timetable

  • Phase 2: Independent teaching of up to 18 hours per week while completing academic assignments

  • Blended training combining in-school experience with reflective practice

  • Salary throughout the programme—no tuition fees to pay

  • Expert mentoring and tailored support from Grad2Teach and school staff

This is an ideal opportunity to develop into a confident, capable teacher within a values-driven, forward-thinking school.

 Candidate Requirements

We are looking for passionate future teachers who:

  • Hold an undergraduate degree (any subject considered)

  • Are committed to raising outcomes for children from all backgrounds

  • Are resilient, reflective, and motivated to improve

  • Ideally have GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science (support may be available during Phase 1)
