Trainee English Teacher

We are looking for a motivated graduate trainee, future English teacher, or experienced education professional who is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.

• A UK undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in English, English Literature, English Language, or a closely related subject.
• Previous teaching or classroom experience (essential), including teaching, tutoring, cover supervision, lecturing, or other significant classroom leadership.
• A genuine ambition to become a qualified secondary English teacher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• High expectations of student achievement and behaviour.

Training & Progression

During Phase One, you will:

• Complete the Level 4 qualification.
• Develop your teaching practice through the Core Content Framework (CCF).
