Role & Training
As part of the Grad2Teach programme, you’ll train while working in the classroom, earning a salary throughout your placement. Our two-phase programme is designed to support you every step of the way:

Phase 1: Gain classroom experience and develop core teaching skills.

Phase 2: Work towards a PGCE with QTS, delivered in partnership with Coventry University.

Receive blended training based on the Core Content Framework and Teaching Standards.

Access to expert mentoring and coaching from school-based professionals and Grad2Teach staff.

Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for passionate individuals who are ready to take the first step into a meaningful career in education:

A degree in History or a related subject is essential.

GCSEs in English and Maths are usually required, but flexibility may be offered during Phase 1.

You’ll need to be committed, resilient, and eager to learn.
