The Role & Training

As a Graduate Trainee Geography Teacher, you’ll gain classroom experience from the start, teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, while receiving expert training and ongoing support through Grad2Teach’s fully-funded programme.

Grad2Teach’s two-phase programme includes:

  • A PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University

  • A salaried position with no tuition fees

  • Blended training mapped to the Initial Teacher Training Core Content Framework

  • A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Geography or a related field)
  • Some flexibility with GCSE requirements during Phase 1
  • A passion for education and a genuine interest in inspiring young learners
  • Commitment, resilience, and a readiness to thrive in a supportive school setting
  • Regular school-based mentoring and professional support from experienced educators

Candidate Requirements
