The Role & Training
As a Graduate Trainee Geography Teacher, you’ll gain classroom experience from the start, teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, while receiving expert training and ongoing support through Grad2Teach’s fully-funded programme.
Grad2Teach’s two-phase programme includes:

A PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University

Blended training mapped to the Initial Teacher Training Core Content Framework
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Geography or a related field)
- Some flexibility with GCSE requirements during Phase 1
- A passion for education and a genuine interest in inspiring young learners
- Commitment, resilience, and a readiness to thrive in a supportive school setting
- Regular school-based mentoring and professional support from experienced educators
