About the Grad2Teach Programme
Our Initial Teacher Training programme is a salaried, two-phase route designed to prepare you for success in the classroom.

Phase 1 (1–3 terms): Build experience without a full teaching timetable, supported by targeted training based on the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework.

Phase 2 (3 terms): Take on independent teaching (up to 18 hours/week) and complete your PGCE with QTS through Coventry University.

Salary: From £22,000 p.a. (gross actual), with potential for higher rates based on experience

PGCE Fee: £6,500 (school or Student Finance support available)

What You’ll Need

A bachelor’s degree

GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths (or willingness to complete these during Phase 1)

Previous classroom experience, including planning, teaching, and assessment
