Nice brings strong subject knowledge and varied teaching experience to her pursuit of a secondary Science role. She spent four years as a Chemistry lecturer in India, gaining confidence in both theory and laboratory-based instruction. Since moving to the UK, she has broadened her experience through science outreach, running after-school sessions and camps for younger learners, which has developed her ability to adapt lessons for different age groups and needs.
In her assessment interview she demonstrated secure curriculum knowledge, delivering a well-structured KS4 presentation on chemical reactions and conservation of mass. She was clear on learning outcomes, assessment strategies, and follow-up lessons, showing both confidence and reflective practice.
