With a background in Philosophy from Royal Holloway, Karishiga brings a unique perspective to education, fostering critical thinking, empathy, and a global outlook in her students.

Her experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant has equipped her with the patience, adaptability, and understanding required to support diverse learners. Karishiga has worked with non-verbal and differently-abled students, helping them achieve milestones in reading and writing. These moments have shaped her teaching philosophy, which centres on creating inclusive and supportive learning environments where every child can thrive.

Karishiga’s academic interests span Philosophy, Religious Studies, History, and Psychology, subjects she believes are vital for developing informed, empathetic, and resilient individuals. Her professional experience at the House of Commons and as a private tutor has further enriched her ability to connect with students and guide them in their personal and academic growth.
