We offer three flexible routes to QTS, depending on your needs and background:

PGCE with QTS: A university-led qualification combined with salaried school-based training.
Teaching Apprenticeship: A salaried training route fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.
Assessment Only Route (AOR): For experienced staff ready to evidence their teaching competency and gain QTS quickly.

Your Grad2Teach Journey

Step 1: Initial Consultation

Speak with us about your qualifications, ambitions, and possible routes into teaching. We'll advise you on next steps and potential pathways.

Step 2: Application and Assessment

Complete a short application, literacy and numeracy tasks, and an assessment call to confirm your readiness for training.

Step 3: Placement and Phase One

We match you to a supportive school. In Phase One, you build teaching skills through Foundation, Application, and Assessment terms, at a manageable pace.

Step 4: Phase Two and QTS

Move into your chosen ITT route — PGCE, Apprenticeship, or AOR — teaching independently and working toward full qualification with expert Grad2Teach support.

You will gain valuable classroom experience while working towards the Grad2Teach Level 4 qualification, developing the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress towards becoming a qualified teacher. Working alongside experienced teaching professionals, you will support the delivery of engaging Business Studies lessons, helping students develop their understanding of entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, management and the wider business environment. You will encourage students to think critically, solve problems, explore real-world business challenges and develop the analytical and decision-making skills needed for their future careers. As your confidence and experience grow, you will gradually take on greater classroom responsibility, learning how to plan effective lessons, manage behaviour, assess student progress and adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
