About the Role
We are looking for a motivated aspiring teacher, trainee educator, or future Sociology teacher with a passion for social sciences and education.
You will:

Hold (or be working toward) a degree in Sociology or a closely related subject

Be enthusiastic about inspiring young people to think critically about society

Be reliable, reflective, and eager to develop professionally

Enjoy working with secondary-aged students in a classroom setting

Be committed to progressing on a structured teacher training programme
Previous experience in schools, tutoring, youth work, or mentoring is beneficial but not essential.
Training & Progression

You will complete Phase One, working toward a Level 4 qualification with Grad2Teach

Training is aligned with the Core Content Framework (CCF) and national Teaching Standards

You will receive structured mentoring, observations, and professional development

Successful completion of Phase One leads to Phase Two, where you move into independent teaching

Phase Two includes a PGCE with Coventry University, supporting you to become a fully qualified teacher
This clear pathway supports your journey from trainee teacher to qualified Sociology educator.
