About the Role

We are looking for a motivated aspiring teacher, trainee educator, or future Sociology teacher with a passion for social sciences and education.

You will:

  • Hold (or be working toward) a degree in Sociology or a closely related subject

  • Be enthusiastic about inspiring young people to think critically about society

  • Be reliable, reflective, and eager to develop professionally

  • Enjoy working with secondary-aged students in a classroom setting

  • Be committed to progressing on a structured teacher training programme

Previous experience in schools, tutoring, youth work, or mentoring is beneficial but not essential.

Training & Progression

  • You will complete Phase One, working toward a Level 4 qualification with Grad2Teach

  • Training is aligned with the Core Content Framework (CCF) and national Teaching Standards

  • You will receive structured mentoring, observations, and professional development

  • Successful completion of Phase One leads to Phase Two, where you move into independent teaching

  • Phase Two includes a PGCE with Coventry University, supporting you to become a fully qualified teacher
