About Grad2Teach
Grad2Teach offers a salaried, school-based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme that enables you to earn while you learn. Through hands-on experience in the classroom, you’ll receive personalised mentoring, professional development, and structured support as you work towards QTS and PGCE.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students with a range of special educational needs under the guidance of experienced educators.

  • Assisting in the delivery of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).

  • Promoting inclusion, acceptance, and a positive classroom environment.

  • Helping with personal care needs, including hygiene, first aid, and mobility support.

  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and multi-agency professionals.

  • Supporting learning in both classroom and wider school settings, including therapeutic activities and enrichment.

  • Helping to create accessible resources and learning materials.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role and the Grad2Teach programme, you must have:

  • A UK undergraduate degree (in any subject).

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

  • A strong desire to work with children and young people with additional needs.

  • Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.

  • A commitment to becoming an inclusive and empathetic educator.
