Grad2Teach is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Teacher of Maths at a vibrant secondary school in the Manchester area. This salaried, school-based role is part of our unique Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme, designed to support you in achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) while you work.
About the Role
As a Trainee Teacher of Maths, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students across Key Stages.

Support the development and delivery of a broad, balanced and ambitious maths curriculum.

Work closely with experienced educators to plan lessons, assess progress, and tailor learning to students’ needs.

Build positive relationships with students and colleagues to contribute to a strong learning culture.

Participate in the wider life of the school, including form tutoring and extra-curricular activities.

Help raise student attainment and promote a love of Mathematics.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this role and the Grad2Teach programme, you must have:

A UK undergraduate degree (in any subject – Maths or a closely related discipline preferred).

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

A genuine passion for teaching and for making a difference in education.

Strong communication skills, resilience, and a commitment to professional growth.
