This salaried, school-based role is part of our unique Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme, designed to support you in achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) while you work.

About the Role

As a Trainee Teacher of Maths, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students across Key Stages.

  • Support the development and delivery of a broad, balanced and ambitious maths curriculum.

  • Work closely with experienced educators to plan lessons, assess progress, and tailor learning to students’ needs.

  • Build positive relationships with students and colleagues to contribute to a strong learning culture.

  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including form tutoring and extra-curricular activities.

  • Help raise student attainment and promote a love of Mathematics.

Entry Requirements
