Role & Training

Through the Grad2Teach two-phase programme, you will:

  • Gain a PGCE with QTS through Coventry University

  • Receive a salary while you train in the classroom

  • Be supported by an experienced subject mentor and a collaborative school team

  • Follow a blended training programme designed around the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework

From your first day, you’ll play an active role in the Science department—supporting lessons, leading activities, planning and delivering lessons, and assessing progress.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for aspiring Science teachers who:

  • Hold a UK bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Science or a related field

  • Have GCSEs in English and Maths (flexibility possible during Phase 1)

  • Are committed, resilient, and enthusiastic about working with young people

  • Share the school’s values of respect, ambition, and community engagement
