Role & Training

Through the Grad2Teach two-phase programme, you will:

• Gain a PGCE with QTS through Coventry University

• Earn a salary while training in the classroom

• Be supported by a dedicated subject mentor and a collaborative teaching team

• Follow a blended programme based on the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework

  Candidate Requirements

  We are looking for motivated aspiring English teachers who:

  • Hold a UK bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) — ideally in English or a related subject

  • Have GCSEs in English and Maths (some flexibility possible during Phase 1)

  • Are committed, resilient, and enthusiastic about teaching

  • Share the school’s values of respect, ambition, and community engagement
