About You

We are looking for a motivated aspiring teacher, trainee educator, or future English teacher who is passionate about language, literature, and student development.

You will:

Hold (or be working toward) a degree in English or a related subject
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Be enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn in a school-based environment
Enjoy engaging secondary-aged pupils in reading and critical thinking
Be committed to developing through a structured teacher training programme

Experience in tutoring, mentoring, or supporting young people is beneficial but not essential.

Training & Progression

Completion of Phase One, achieving a Level 4 qualification with Grad2Teach
Training aligned with the Core Content Framework (CCF) and national Teaching Standards
Structured mentoring, lesson observations, and professional development
Progression into Phase Two, with increased responsibility and independent teaching
Opportunity to complete a PGCE with Coventry University, leading to QTS
