About Grad2Teach
Grad2Teach offers a salaried, school-based route into teaching, allowing you to earn while you train. From day one, you’ll gain real classroom experience, working closely with skilled educators as you progress towards QTS and a PGCE awarded by Coventry University.

This hands-on, supportive programme is designed to build your confidence and classroom practice over time, ensuring you are fully prepared to take on your own teaching responsibilities.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting and teaching students in English language and literature across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Developing your teaching skills through structured training and daily classroom experience

  • Receiving personalised mentoring and coaching from experienced professionals

  • Helping students develop literacy, confidence, and a love of language


Candidate Requirements
To be eligible for this role and the Grad2Teach programme, you must:

  • Hold a UK undergraduate degree—ideally in English, English Literature, or a related subject

  • Have achieved (or be working towards) GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics

  • Be passionate about education and enthusiastic about making a difference

  • Possess strong communication skills and a resilient, growth-focused mindset

  • Be committed to becoming a fully qualified teacher through school-based training
