About the Role

You will join a diverse and inclusive secondary school in Manchester,  supporting a dynamic Art department that encourages creativity and self-expression. As a Phase One Trainee Teacher, you will begin by assisting experienced teachers and gradually develop your own teaching practice while completing your Level 4 qualification with Grad2Teach.

This graduate teaching role is part of the Grad2Teach salaried teacher training programme, giving you the opportunity to earn while you train and build the foundations for a successful teaching career.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Assisting with preparation of materials, displays, and creative projects
  • Working with students to develop artistic techniques and confidence
  • Supporting lesson planning, marking, and assessment
  • Gradually taking on responsibility for leading lessons
