About the Role
Are you a graduate looking to begin your journey into teaching? This exciting Phase One salaried teacher training opportunity in Bedfordshire allows you to gain first-hand classroom experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 4 qualification in Education and Training.
As a Phase One English trainee, you’ll support lessons, lead small groups, and gradually build your teaching skills – all while receiving structured training through the Grad2Teach programme. Our carefully designed pathway ensures you can develop your classroom confidence without the pressure of a full timetable from day one.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Leading targeted interventions to raise literacy and communication skills.
- Working alongside experienced teachers and mentors to develop your teaching practice.
- Progressing through our Level 4 qualification, giving you a solid foundation in pedagogy, behaviour management, and subject delivery.
