About the Role & Grad2Teach Programme
This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is an entry point into the Grad2Teach salaried teacher training programme, which combines real classroom experience with professional development and academic study leading to qualified teacher status.
You will:

Begin in a Graduate TA role, supporting teachers and working with pupils across key stages

Progress through our two-phase training programme leading to a PGCE with QTS from Coventry University

Earn a salary while gaining valuable experience and professional mentoring

Benefit from blended training based on the Teaching Standards and the Core Content Framework

Work with a team of experienced educators who will guide your development into a confident and capable teacher
Phase 1: Develop key classroom skills through support work, small group instruction, and training sessions.
Phase 2: Begin teaching your own lessons (up to 18 hours/week) while completing your PGCE.
This is a fully funded, experience-led path into the teaching profession—ideal for graduates who are eager to learn and make a lasting difference in students' lives.
