About Profile

Natasha

brings a uniquely creative and socially engaged background to their journey into primary education. With experience spanning the charity sector, arts education, and international teaching, they have consistently focused on empowering others through learning and development.

Their work with refugee women at Makani and NEET young people at The King’s Trust reflects their commitment to inclusive, impactful support. As UK Programmes Manager and Youth Development Lead respectively, they gained vital skills in project design, facilitation, safeguarding, and emotional first aid, all directly transferable to a primary classroom. These roles have honed their adaptability, organisation, and understanding of how to engage learners with empathy and structure.

Voluntary experiences further demonstrate a sustained dedication to education. From supporting creative projects in primary schools and guiding school groups at the National Portrait Gallery, to tutoring reading with Bookmark and teaching English to Afghan refugee children in Pakistan, they have developed a strong foundation in lesson planning, differentiation, and managing diverse classroom needs. Teaching groups of up to fifty children, many new to formal education, proved to be a formative experience, reinforcing their desire to become a full-time primary teacher.

Academically, Natasha is highly accomplished, holding four A* A-Levels, a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Exeter, and a Distinction at MA level from Central Saint Martins. Their background in arts, philosophy, and curation informs a creative and interdisciplinary approach to teaching.

They are particularly passionate about building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, emotional intelligence, and curiosity, believing education to be the most powerful form of support a child can receive. With a clear sense of purpose and a wealth of relevant experience, they are now ready to take the next step into classroom teaching and make a lasting impact on young learners.
