About the Role:

As a Trainee Science Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that spark curiosity and scientific thinking.

  • Work under the guidance of experienced teachers and a mentor as you build your skills in the classroom.

  • Contribute to a vibrant Science department and wider school community.

  • Follow a structured, school-based training programme leading to QTS and PGCE.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this opportunity and the Grad2Teach programme, you must have:

  • A UK undergraduate degree preferrably in a Science-related subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Environmental Science).

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

  • A genuine interest in education and inspiring young people.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A commitment to completing teacher training and achieving QTS and PGCE.
