ABOUT THE ROLE
One of our partner schools in Reading is currently recruiting for a graduate in Drama to take up a place on our salaried teacher training programme. The position of trainee Drama Teacher is a full-time salaried position, where the successful Drama trainee will be a drama graduate who, ideally, has experience in the UK classroom or facilitating workshops. This is a fantastic school to begin your, salaried teacher training, where endeavour and aspiration are central to everything they do. The staff form a close-knit and supportive team who work together to promote successful outcomes for all through the provision of a positive, safe and vibrant learning environment which engenders self-esteem, social confidence and a healthy lifestyle. The department is managed by a charismatic and supportive Head of Department who will make an excellent mentor during your salaried teacher training. An integral facet of the School ethos is that success is a powerful motivator and that student achievements have positive implications for all areas of learning in terms of raised self-confidence, independence and ambition.
