In this unique position, you will work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) while beginning your formal training with Grad2Teach — a salaried, school-based route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE. This is the ideal role for someone looking to deepen their classroom expertise while steadily progressing towards full qualification as a primary teacher.
The Role:
As a HLTA Trainee, you will support and lead learning across the primary phase, including delivering planned lessons, supporting small group interventions, and contributing to pupil progress. You’ll work closely with teachers and school leaders, gaining hands-on experience while undertaking your initial teacher training through Grad2Teach. The school’s collaborative culture ensures you’ll be supported every step of the way as you develop the skills and confidence to become a qualified teacher.

Who We’re Looking For:

A UK undergraduate degree

GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English, Science and Mathematics
