About the Role & Grad2Teach Programme
This Graduate Trainee Primary Teacher role is part of the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme, offering a practical and financially supported route into the teaching profession.
You will:

Start as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils across the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2

Progress through our two-phase training model, with increasing responsibility and teaching practice

Complete a PGCE with QTS awarded by Coventry University

Earn a salary while training, with no tuition fees required

Receive structured mentorship, professional coaching, and access to a blended training programme built around the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework
Phase 1: Assist in planning and delivering lessons, support individual and small-group learning, and develop classroom management strategies
Phase 2: Lead lessons independently for up to 18 hours per week while completing academic assignments
This hands-on, immersive approach ensures you are well prepared for a long-term, successful teaching career.
Candidate Requirements

Hold a UK bachelor’s degree (in any subject)

Hold (or are working towards) GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science (some flexibility available during Phase 1)
