Grad2Teach is offering an exciting Graduate Trainee Teacher – Girls’ PE opportunity at a successful and well-resourced secondary school in Farnborough, Hampshire. This fully salaried role allows you to begin your journey as a Phase One trainee, gaining hands-on classroom experience while completing your Level 4 qualification, with a clear pathway to Phase Two, PGCE and QTS.

As a Grad2Teach trainee, you will support teaching and learning across Girls’ Physical Education, helping to deliver an engaging and varied curriculum that promotes participation, confidence and achievement. You’ll also contribute to extra-curricular clubs, fixtures and enrichment activities, playing an active role in the school’s sporting life.
This role is ideal for a graduate who wants to earn while they train, make a real impact from day one, and develop within a school that values growth and collaboration.
About You
You may be a recent graduate, sports coach or aspiring educator with a passion for PE and youth development. We are looking for someone who:

Is a motivated aspiring Girls’ PE teacher / graduate trainee

Holds (or is working towards) a degree in Sport, PE or a related subject

Is enthusiastic, reflective and committed to continuous improvement

Values teamwork and upholds whole-school values

Can build positive relationships and inspire young people to participate and succeed

Is keen to develop their teaching practice through expert mentoring and training
Training & Progression with Grad2Teach
This role follows Grad2Teach’s fully salaried, two-phase teacher training model:
Phase One – Level 4 & Foundational Training

Complete a Level 4 NCFE customised qualification while working in school

Training aligned to the Core Content Framework (CCF) and Teachers’ Standards

Learn through guided practice, lesson observations, professional learning sessions and classroom experience
Phase Two – PGCE & QTS (Coventry University)
Subject to successful progression:

Increased independent teaching responsibility (up to 18 hours per week)

Completion of a PGCE with QTS through Coventry University (NITE)

Ongoing mentoring, assessment and professional development
This structured pathway ensures you graduate with the skills, confidence and qualifications to begin your career as a fully qualified PE teacher.
