About the Role
We are looking for a motivated graduate trainee, aspiring Engineering teacher, or experienced education professional who can combine strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for helping young people learn.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A UK undergraduate degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a closely related subject.

Training & Progression

Phase One
You will:
- Complete the Level 4 qualification.

- Develop your skills in lesson planning, practical teaching, assessment, behaviour management, and reflective practice.
- Take increasing responsibility for planning and delivering Engineering lessons.
Phase Two
Following successful completion of Phase One, you will progress towards:
- Greater independent teaching responsibility.
- Continued development of your subject knowledge and teaching practice.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A PGCE with Coventry University through the Grad2Teach programme.
