About the Role

Make science click – one lesson at a time.

Richmond upon Thames School is looking for a budding Physics teacher to join their science department as a salaried trainee through Grad2Teach. If you’ve got a Physics degree (or closely related field) and a knack for making sense of the universe, we want you.

From forces and fields to circuits and cosmos, you’ll be helping students connect big ideas to their everyday world. You’ll train on the job while working towards a PGCE with QTS – no tuition fees, no unpaid placements, just hands-on experience and structured support.

With Grad2Teach, you’ll:

  • Get paid while you train – ideal if you’re career-switching or skipping the uni debt.

  • Follow a clear two-phase pathway: from classroom support to leading your own lessons.

  • Be mentored by experienced teachers who want you to succeed.

  • Earn a PGCE with QTS through Coventry University.

Physics teachers are in short supply – and high demand. If you want to make a difference and love sharing scientific wonder, this is your launchpad.
