Trainee Science Teacher

I have been fascinated by science since primary school and have always wanted to be a science teacher who makes learning enjoyable.

My skills include attention to detail, excellent communication, and a passion for science. I use videos, quizzes, debates, and experiments to engage students and ensure they understand the material.

While studying for a master's in biomedical sciences, she worked part-time as a support worker for children with disabilities. This experience taught her patience and the value of using visuals and music in teaching. In her previous role as a science teacher, she found working with young people very rewarding.

For her secondary teacher training, Sharon aims to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, primarily to KS3 students. She believes teaching is crucial for shaping a child's future and strives to make science exciting and accessible.
