About Dalia
Dalia is an aspiring secondary French teacher with over 17 years of teaching experience across primary, secondary, and higher education settings in both Lebanon and the UK. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature and a Master’s degree in French Language and Literature, alongside extensive professional development in pedagogy, multilingualism, classroom management, and educational technology.
Dalia brings substantial classroom experience teaching French across a wide range of age groups and abilities. She currently works as a French Lead at St Anselm’s School, teaching classes of approximately 30 students across multiple year groups. Her responsibilities include lesson planning, adapting materials to different proficiency levels, and supporting students in developing confidence across speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
She has also taught French in UK secondary schools and worked as a GCSE French tutor through PEARSON, preparing KS4 students for examinations through targeted support in pronunciation, writing, and comprehension. In addition, her long-standing experience as an online tutor has enabled her to work flexibly with students aged 6–16 from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
Dalia’s international teaching background is a significant strength. In Lebanon, she taught French, Mathematics, Science, and Arabic across primary and secondary phases, while also lecturing at university level. Her university role included organising educational visits, supporting staff wellbeing and CPD, and mentoring students academically.
