Steven is a Marking & Assessment Support Officer at Grad2Teach, bringing over 15 years of experience in education, assessment and quality assurance. He specialises in marking written assignments and portfolio-based evidence, providing clear, developmental feedback that helps learners understand their progress and continue to develop professionally.

His background includes extensive experience as a tutor, assessor and assessment specialist, including delivering and assessing AET and CAVA qualifications and supporting internal quality assurance, standardisation and moderation. Having worked across a wide range of NCFE-accredited and vocational qualifications, Steven brings a strong understanding of the importance of fair, consistent and supportive assessment.

Steven particularly enjoys supporting those entering the teaching profession and helping trainee teachers develop through thoughtful feedback and guidance. His experience working with learners in inclusive and SEN settings has further strengthened his empathetic and professional approach. He is passionate about ensuring that trainees receive the clear, constructive support they need to develop their confidence, knowledge and professional practice.
