About the Role
An inclusive and well-regarded special school in Buckinghamshire is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join its dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a setting that supports children with a range of additional needs and encourages every pupil to achieve their full potential.

As a HLTA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils across a broad spectrum of educational and behavioural needs, working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff.
The Role:

Deliver planned lessons and interventions across a range of subjects and age groups

Support individual and small-group learning in line with pupils' EHCPs

Work in partnership with teachers to adapt learning materials and manage classroom behaviour positively

Use creative, flexible approaches to engage children with a range of learning styles and abilities

Contribute to the wider life of the school and build trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
-
Has an undergraduate degree

Has GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Mathematics

Demonstrates experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) - desirable

Has a positive, resilient attitude and a genuine commitment to inclusive education

Can communicate effectively and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
