About the Role
A welcoming secondary school in Suffolk is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Cover Supervisor while beginning a structured training pathway towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE through Grad2Teach.
This role is perfect for those who want to gain first-hand classroom experience while training to teach. You will work closely with experienced teachers, manage classes in the absence of the class teacher, and build the skills and confidence needed to become an outstanding educator.

The Role:

Supervise whole classes during the absence of the class teacher

Deliver set work, keeping students engaged and on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support pupils’ learning and development across different subjects

Begin your journey towards QTS and PGCE through Grad2Teach’s structured school-based programme
Requirements:

An undergraduate degree (essential)

GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics

Strong communication and organisational skills

A genuine interest in teaching and working with young people

Commitment to completing the Grad2Teach programme leading to QTS and PGCE
