A vibrant secondary school in Hertfordshire is seeking a confident, organised, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team while beginning a structured training pathway towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE through Grad2Teach.

You will work alongside experienced educators, supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, and develop the skills needed to become an inspiring teacher.

The Role:

Supervise whole classes during teacher absence

Deliver pre-prepared lessons, ensuring pupils remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support student learning across a range of subjects

Begin your journey towards QTS and PGCE through Grad2Teach’s school-based route
Requirements:

An undergraduate degree (essential)

GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics

Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging young people

Strong organisational and communication skills

Commitment to completing the Grad2Teach programme leading to QTS and PGCE
