Trainee Teacher (Cover Supervisor Role)

A dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in East Sussex is looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This role is ideal for graduates or individuals with experience working with young people who are considering a future in teaching or education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise lessons across a range of subjects and year groups

• Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and follow school policies

• Support students’ learning and well-being

• Provide feedback to teaching staff about pupil progress and engagement

Who We’re Looking For:

• A degree (or working towards one), or relevant experience working with young people

• GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics

• Confidence in managing groups of students

• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

• A genuine interest in education and potential to progress into teacher training
