This Trainee SEND Teacher opportunity provides a structured and supportive pathway into education through Grad2Teach’s salaried teacher training programme. Working within a welcoming primary academy in North London, you will gain valuable classroom experience supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.

As a Phase One Trainee Teacher, you will:

  • Support pupils with SEND across the primary age range

  • Assist with differentiated learning and classroom activities

  • Develop behaviour management and communication strategies
  • Gain practical experience within a graduate teaching role

About You

We are looking for a motivated graduate trainee, trainee educator, or future SEND teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting young learners.

Training & Progression

During Phase One, you will:

  • Complete the Grad2Teach Level 4 qualification
  • Develop teaching practice aligned with the Core Content Framework (CCF)
  • Build evidence towards the Teachers’ Standards
  • Receive instructional coaching and mentoring from experienced educators
  • Gain hands-on classroom experience in Enfield, Greater London

Successful trainees can progress into Phase Two, where you will take on greater teaching responsibility and work towards a PGCE with Coventry University.
