This is a salaried teacher training position, meaning you will earn while you train—developing practical skills in a real school environment while working towards a recognised teaching qualification.

About You / Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated and committed individual who is ready to begin their journey as a trainee Science teacher.
You may be:
- A graduate trainee with a degree in Science or a related subject
- Holds GCSEs in Mathematics and English at least at a C/4 or above
- A career changer looking for a meaningful and stable profession
- An experienced cover supervisor, HLTA, or teaching assistant ready to progress

Training & Progression
Grad2Teach offers a two-phase salaried teacher training programme designed to support your development every step of the way.
Phase One (Level 4 Qualification)
- Complete an NCFE Level 4 teaching qualification
- Gain classroom experience without the pressure of a full timetable
- Training aligned with the Core Content Framework (CCF) and Teaching Standards
- Develop skills in behaviour management, lesson support, and pedagogy
Phase Two (PGCE & QTS Route)
- Progress into a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through Coventry University
- Take on increased teaching responsibility with your own timetable
- Receive ongoing mentoring, observations, and structured training
- Achieve a recognised teaching qualification and begin your career as an Early Career Teacher
This graduate teaching role is designed to take you from trainee to confident classroom practitioner within 1–2 years.
