About the Role

Are you passionate about Science and ready to inspire the next generation of learners? A secondary school in West Norfolk is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated graduate or career changer to train as a Science teacher while working and earning in a real classroom environment.

Located in the beautiful and peaceful region of West Norfolk — known for its historic towns, rural charm, and proximity to the Norfolk coast — the school offers a welcoming environment with a strong focus on student progress, inclusion, and staff development.

The Role:
As a Trainee Science Teacher, you will support and gradually lead the delivery of Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will work closely with experienced teaching staff and mentors as you develop your subject knowledge, classroom practice, and confidence. Alongside your school-based work, you will complete a structured training route through Grad2Teach, leading to QTS and a PGCE.

About Grad2Teach:
Grad2Teach offers a salaried, school-based teacher training pathway designed for graduates and career changers. The programme provides a clear structure, expert mentoring, and practical experience to help you qualify as a teacher and thrive in your new career.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • An undergraduate degree in a Science-related subject

  • GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics

  • A genuine enthusiasm for Science and education

  • Commitment to becoming a qualified teacher and making a difference in young people’s lives

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

What You’ll Receive:

  • A salaried training position in a West Norfolk secondary school

  • A structured route to gain QTS and a PGCE with Grad2Teach

  • Regular in-classroom support and mentoring

  • Experience in a school that values staff growth and student achievement
