About the Training
Through the Grad2Teach programme, you will:

Develop your teaching through real classroom experience and ongoing reflection
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Trainee Science Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging science lessons to pupils of varying abilities

Assess and report on student progress, using data to inform your teaching
-
Support pupils academically and pastorally, including form tutor duties
-
Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and enrichment programme
-
Be a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, compassion and a strong work ethic

Take an active role in curriculum planning and departmental resourcing

Help drive improvements in teaching and learning within your department

Hold a degree in a science-related subject

Are passionate about education and working with young people

Have GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above

Are confident, reflective and open to feedback

Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
