Training & Progression

Phase One – Level 4 Qualification
During Phase One, you will:
- Complete a recognised Level 4 qualification
- Develop your practice through classroom-based experience
- Train against the Core Content Framework (CCF) and Teachers' Standards
- Receive mentoring, observations, and structured professional development
- Build a portfolio of evidence and teaching expertise
Phase Two – PGCE and QTS Route
Following successful completion of Phase One, trainees can progress to:
- Independent teaching responsibilities
- A PGCE with QTS through Coventry University

- Achievement of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
