Trainee Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a motivated aspiring teacher, trainee educator, or future Maths teacher with a passion for education and numeracy.

You will:

• Hold (or be working toward) a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

• Be enthusiastic about becoming a qualified secondary Maths teacher

• Be reliable, reflective, and eager to learn on the job

• Enjoy supporting young people to develop confidence in Maths

• Be committed to professional growth through a structured teacher training programme

Previous experience in tutoring, schools, or youth work is helpful but not essential.

Training & Progression

• You will complete Phase One, working toward a Level 4 qualification with Grad2Teach

• Training aligns with the Core Content Framework (CCF) and national Teaching Standards

• You will receive structured mentoring, observations, and professional development

• Successful completion of Phase One leads to Phase Two, where you progress to independent teaching

• Phase Two includes a PGCE with Coventry University, supporting you to qualify as a teacher
