The Mathematics department is energetic and high-achieving, with a clear commitment to high-quality subject pedagogy and innovation in the classroom. Trainees benefit from a well-established programme of support, including tailored CPD and dedicated mentoring throughout the year.

About the Role & Grad2Teach Training Programme

Through the Grad2Teach salaried Initial Teacher Training programme, you will:

  • Earn a salary while training in a real classroom environment

  • Follow a two-phase structure:

    • Phase 1: Develop foundational teaching skills with structured training and observation opportunities

    • Phase 2: Take on independent teaching responsibilities (up to 18 hours per week) as you complete your PGCE

  • Be awarded a PGCE with QTS by Coventry University

  • Receive high-quality mentoring and support from experienced teaching staff

  • Take part in blended learning aligned with the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework

This is a fantastic chance to grow into a confident, capable Mathematics teacher while working and learning in a professional school setting.

  • Are committed, resilient, and reflective

  • Are eager to make a difference and develop within a structured and supportive environment

  • Are seeking a salaried route into teacher training and Qualified Teacher Status
