About the Role

Are you passionate about working with children and ready to take the next step toward becoming a qualified teacher? This is an exciting opportunity to train as a Primary Teacher while working in a dynamic and inclusive school environment. You'll support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
This is a salaried, school-based teacher training position, where you will play a vital role in promoting pupil progress, independence, and social inclusion.
About the Grad2Teach Training Programme
Through the Grad2Teach salaried teacher training route, you will:

Work full-time in a supportive school environment while completing your training

Achieve QTS with a PGCE, awarded by Coventry University

Pay no tuition fees
-
Receive structured training aligned with the Core Content Framework

Be guided by experienced mentors throughout your journey
What the Role Involves
As part of your role, you will:
-
Work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning and behaviour
-
Assist with small group and 1:1 interventions tailored to individual needs
-
Promote pupil confidence, independence and participation in learning
-
Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and EAL needs as appropriate
-
Help monitor and track pupil progress

Contribute to the planning and delivery of lessons and enrichment activities

Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and work collaboratively with staff and parents
You will also support one after-school club per week, with one extended working day until 4.15pm.
Who We’re Looking For
This opportunity is ideal for someone who:

Holds a degree in any subject

Has experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting

Has GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above

Communicates clearly and professionally
-
Is proactive, positive, and committed to inclusive practice

Has an interest in SEND and supporting children’s personal development
-
Is ready to develop the skills and confidence to become a qualified teacher
